The Arms Akimbo are celebrating their new EP, You Want To, with a release show tonight at The Kitty Kat Klub with The Alarmists and The Invincible Kids.

According to their Web site, “Rock the Cause is a grassroots effort to build a new gneration [sic] of volunteerism and support for causes that make an immediate and measurable impact on their communities.” I have no idea what that really means, but this looks like it’s going to be a good show. A strange band line-up, stranger event program and general weirdness permeated the evening.
