The Full Throttle Battle of the Bands will showcase locally and nationally recognized bands — competing for their chance to have their original son in the Minnesota racing movie Full Throttle — on Saturday, September 12 at the Fine Line Music Café.

The winner, in addition the $1000 all the bands receive, gets five hours in Fuzzy Slippers Studio to record their song, the opportunity to have a cameo in “Full Throttle” and have their song featured in the movie.
Yours truly will be one of the judges (hint: you can start buying me beers now). Tickets are limited with the show expected to sell out.
