nIEckleback web browser: Rock Out Your Internet!

nIEckleback
Nickelback has its own special version of IE 8 — touted as “optimized for Live Nation.” LOL.

According to Digital Music News,
“Indeed, this is not the standard version of IE 8, but one that includes some newer features. That includes ‘InPrivate’ browsing, a mode that does not record page histories, and ‘Web Slices,’ essentially mini-browsers for limited functions like stock quotes and weather. In exchange for the upgrade, fans get an unreleased Nickelback live track and access to webisode content.”

It’s funny how similar these capabilities are to Firefox plug-ins. I’m still in the process of installing it, but it’s difficult to tell if upgrading your browser will give you long flowing locks, the desire to spend $50 on administrative ticket fees, or the ability to cover yourself on your own songs:

Nickelback : Mashup of “Someday” and “How You Remind Me” (mp3)

Oh joy. Get it here, posers.

Heck, at least it’s better than Radiohead’s.
