O’Death’s new Broken Hymns, Limbs and Skin album on Kemado Records is a whiskey-fueled devil dance of American macabre. Sounding like a modern day Charlie Daniels Band fronted by Les Claypool, it’s immediately apparent the New York quintet is redefining the hoedown/saloon genre. I’ll drink to that.
O’Death’s Minneapolis gig is November 10 at the 7th Street Entry, I managed to get my grubby little hands on two tickets. Want them?
