The only way to make truly original heavy music is to break out of the genre completely. Just as the most punk-rock artists currently releasing music all wear cardigans and are clean-shaven, the the most down-to-dirt metal act I have found in the past three years happens not to play metal. Only downside, the metal kids don't like him because he raps, and the rap kids don't like him because he doesn't rap right.
