You’ll see from the dates below they seem to be blatantly skipping Minnesota. I’ll take this to mean they promise not to sue any Minnesotan fans for the remainder of 2008. I guess we’ll see…

    You’re not kidding.

Don’t they tend to sell out in Mn?

I guess they don’t need the money all of those lawsuits against the middle class must really be paying off.

wacky. They are playing in Des Moines but not here… it’s only a 3.5 hour drive if you drive fast!

they are also playing the allstate arena in chicago, weird choice… and a lot of 2nd tier cities.

    Who cares?

SeanH, good point. I’m not going to be able to afford the tix and already saw them play all the classics years ago. Actually, I saw them headline a show at the NASCAR track in St. Louis with Korn, Kid Rock and System of a Down opening! It was a crazy show.

Sometimes bands don’t announce all dates at once, but if they don’t come to MN I’m driving my ass to Iowa. Down fucking rules! Lamb of God rules, and Machine Head I just don’t care for at all.

I’d drive to Iowa if it was only Down playing, the Metallica part is just a bonus.
