Een baasje. Bleek de laatste tijd inspiratie bron te zijn voor vele artiesten, waaronder Snoop Dogg, die sowieso afgelopen jaar wel interesse bleek te hebben voor ouwe zingende gitaarspelende mannen. Nu Johny Cash’ naam weer rijkelijk over menigeen lippen en tong vloeit is er een Remixed LP  uitgebracht, een cd waarop diverse artiesten een liedje van de oude hebben geremixed als eerbetoon (denk ik). Leuk? Geen idee. Het enige wat ik ervan heb gehoord is de bovenstaande remix van ”Folsom Prison Blues” door Pete Rock (check hier het orgineel). Die-hard Johny groupies zullen het vast kut vinden, die-hard Pete Rock groupies geniaal.
