What’s your dreamscape soundtrack? Personally, when my head finally hits the pillow after another crazy day, my psyche goes into overdrive. My dream soundtrack is a mix of haunting Angelo Badalamenti acidic whirring, grating Rammstein guitar riffs, driving Trent Reznor electro-beats and intermittent screaming from Pink Floyd’s “Astronomy Domine.”
Minneapolis producer Spencer Wirth-Davis, aka Big Cats!, would suite me better. His second LP, Sleep Tapes, is an instrumental hip-hop masterpiece of ethereal dreamscapes, fragile rhythms and euphonic melodies.
