The Blue Nile Ethopian restaurant on Franklin in Minneapolis is hosting Freak-In-Fridays music nights this summer. This Friday features at least two local bands definitely worth checking out whilst enjoying some wat and tibs.
Funk rock band Mayda (check out “Stereotype” on their MySpace) and jazz/rap group Junkyard Empire (check out “Mangled” on their MySpace).
I.B.E. is also playing, with DJ Reverse Oyster Beard spinning between sets.
