After nearly a decade jamming together, today Minneapolis seven-piece folk/rock band Capitol Jay released their full-length debut, Strangers In My House on Limerick Records. And while I typically don’t sample songs about my cats, it turns out these tracks aren’t about those kind of strangers in my house. Produced in The Alarmists‘ private studio, Strangers will appeal to fans of Wilco and Bright Eyes.
