Copenhagen’s Snake & Jet’s Amazing Bullit Band brings a mix of synth punk and and electro surf rock to our fragile American ears. Get behind me, Satan; this is too many credible influences for one band.
S&J’s new disc, X-Ray Spirit, comes out on March 25 (Crunch Frog Records) borrows notes from The Zombies, Booker T. and The Doors. It’s like Austin Powers’ 2008 Party Mixtape.
Overall, X-Ray is a super strong debut and a danceworthy treat on a Friday, that’s for sure.
