Instead they are partaking in a pay-to-play spinoff festival also in Austin called Red Gorilla put on by the shady Brian Waymire. He charges bands for representation, which really only finances his own pursuits. Coincidentally, one of the festival's "sponsors" is his own company, Dreamscapers. He has no influence in the industry. And he lies about past performers in order to add cred to his festival. Pretty lame. Bands, beware.
