The last time I had tickets to see Eels, Minneapolis hit 101 degrees — hottest day in 18 years and topped off one of hottest summers on record since the mid-1930s — and I couldn’t bring myself to head to the MN Zoo for an outdoor concert.

Good news. E and the band is coming back to Minneapolis, and they’re playing INDOORS!

The group recently released two CD/DVD collections under the Dreamworks/Geffen/UMe label: “Meet the Eels: Essential Eels Vol. 1 1996-2006″ and “Eels Useless Trinkets: B-Sides, Soundtracks, Rarities and Unreleased 1996-2006.”
