Go Fish

Minnesota’s own a capella trio Go Fish played three local kids concerts this weekend in Lakeville. Parents braved the subzero temps to bring their little ones of all ages to dance along to the best kids music in the world that won’t annoy mom and dad (I swear to God).
Covering hits from their seventh and latest album, Snazzy — including “Superhero” (mp3 snippet), “Bible Book Bop,” “The Mom Song” and bedtime classic, “Jammies” (mp3 snippet) — Go Fish compelled the majority of kids to flee their seats, rush the stage and dance out their cases of the wiggley jiggleys.
Highlights included a funkalicious rendition of “The Itsy Bitsy Spider” (mp3 snippet) and encore “American Kid” (mp3 snippet), a patriotic anthem featuring an enormous flag backdrop and hundreds of munchkins in the crowd waving tiny American flags.
If you’re sick of the same sing-song kids’ music, give your kids a change of pace and your own ears a break — check out Go Fish.
