• gave up on going to medical school to follow a guru from India in the rolling hills north of San Francisco
• backpacks for months at a time through third world countries with guitar in hand
• sing and plays with the locals, hopping from train to bus from the rainforests of Peru to the Himalayas in India
• lyrics from stream of consciousness graphic imagery, musings on the reality of existence, and simple songs of smiling people met abroad
• taught himself to read and write Thai while wondering around the islands in the south of Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia
• music reminiscent of the feverish frenzy of Hendrix, the pulsating walls of shoegaze dreamland, the lyrical prowess of Dylan, and pretty acoustic guitar picking
• LEK is a multi-intrumentalist (guitar, piano, bass, drums) and recording/mix engineer
• the album was recorded and mixed by himself
• LEK is also an artist - all of the CD art was hand-drawn and later converted to computer, the CD and website were completely designed by himself as well
