Great Northern Sleepy Eepee, Free Tickets, Concert this week

November 12th, 2007 · No Comments

gnminneapolisbanner_1.jpgGreat Northern’s Sleepy Eepee is the prequel to the acclaimed full-length Trading Twilight For Daylight. Available on iTunes on Nov. 6 and slated for mass distribution on Eenie Meanie early next year, it’s a definitely “must” download if you’re into the mesmerizing LA sonicisms.

However, “This is a Problem,” which you can stream below, showcases more of a Built to Spill sound from the group commonly known for Rachel Stolte’s haunting, dissonant vocals. Great stuff, all around.

Here’s the Sleepy Eepee tracklisting:
1. Loose Ends
2. This is a Problem (stream)
3. Summertime
4. Radio
5. Shakey

Want to go to the show?
Drop us a line ASAP
. We’ve got two tickets, and we’ve got some fancy swag, too (CDs, authographed poster, t-shirt or something). First one to e-mail gets tickets. Second one gets random swag. Third one is a big fat loser (sorry, but probably true). We’ll cross this out once it’s gone.

Will we see you at the show? Free PP buttons to anyone who asks…
