San Diego’s Grand Ole Party stopped at First Avenue last night, touring on their new album, Humanimals. At the heart (and literal center) of the band is singer/drummer Kristin Gundred, whose bluesy vocals are matched only by her prowess on the kit. Meg White, please take note.
We first caught GOP at SXSW, where it was evident this band is going to be a major smash.
