Looking for an escape from the Noreaster, east coast friends?

Strap on your favorite headphones and pop in The Old Soul’s self-titled debut. It’s a sensational three ring circus in your head, with Toronto’s Luca Maoloni as the Brian Wilson-channeling ringmaster.

Mexican mariachi, ragtime revival, Polyphonic Spree and the Flaming Lips all have influential appearances on the trapeze and tiger cage. It’s a complex self-produced LP rounding out at 14 tracks. We don’t know if Maoloni can breathe fire, but this sure beats the petting zoo.
