Stars of Track and Field, the indie rock group from Portland, may have had troubles with their samples, keyboards and mics, but once they got their set up and running, they were off to the races.
The trio’s marriage of electronic beats and samples, tight bass riffs and emotional harmonics had the crowd at Mohawk’s indoor venue bobbing their heads as we zoned out to Highland soundscapes of childish endeavors.
