Brooklyn’s Earl Greyhound — a Zeppelin-inspired power trio who take fervent notes from other bluesy psychedelic 70s groups like Cream,
Big Star and T.Rex — have released a gallant, balls-out, authentically-retro debut full-length you need to know about before they go all Wolfmother on us.

Guitarist Matt Whyte and (female) bassist Kamara Thomas aptly trade off vocal duties atop burning guitar and drummer Christopher Bear’s thunderous power drumming. Like the aforementioned Wolfmother, Earl Greyhound’s quality 70s rock licks, solos and song structure can only help the genre’s renewed pop renaissance.
