The buzz is continuing to build around L.A.’s Midnight Movies, a lauded quartet schooled in the melancholic drone of Jefferson Airplane and vocal ease of the Cranberries.
While their self-titled 2004 LP didn’t usher in the success many hoped for, the upcoming full length Lion the Girl is anticipated to be a blogger’s delight. Check out the single (released just last week) with side B boasting holding a cover of Syd Barrett’s “Golden Hair.”
