If you missed Electropolis– the Minneapolis avant-garde psychedelic jazz meets experimental rock quartet known for their improvisational talents with homemade instruments and song structure — perform a live, interpretive soundtrack to Fritz Lang’s silent 1927 sci-fi film back in February, this one simply cannot be missed.

“We’re doing the Metropolis soundtrack again this Sunday night, it’s all ages and at the Cedar at 7pm.,” says electro-saxophonist Michael Ferrier in an e-mail promoting the show. “It is in celebration of the fact that we are taking the show on the road this fall, playing it at Universities in the Midwest, eventually playing the show in New York in the early spring.”

This one gets the Perfect Porridge seal of approval - a rare honor (seriously).

Oct. 29 - Minneapolis’ Cedar Cultural Center - $12 advance/$15 day of show - Costumes encouraged!
