thechanges.jpg–Chicago’s favorite sons, The Changes have released a new track from their new album, Today Is Tonight, which is a pretty good representation of the group’s jazzy pop approach, although our favorite track is “Her, You and I.” Unfortunately their tour is skipping Minneapolis - anybody up for a 7 hour drive to Chicago? Gary Lucas & Gods and Monsters (you know, the talented guitar player from Captain Beefheart who also plays with Jeff Buckley and Matthew Sweet) is celebrating the release of his new album, Coming Clean, which came out earlier this month. Check out the mp3 below…

–Pop prince-to-be Mika, was born in Beirut then moved to Paris at the height of the war and eventually settled in London, is on course to follow in Gnarls Barkley’s foosteps. As a boy he did the jingle for Orbit Chewing Gum, but these days he’s building buzz internationally for his creative outlook (check out that Web site!). Time will tell, but we’d place your bets now while the odds are good.
