With the influx of Latino culture in the past few years, it’s really surprising there hasn’t been a Spanglish mainstream punk crossover sooner than now. And L.A.’s Los Abandoned has the bi-lingual changeups down to a science.

And while we may not be able to tell what they’re saying, we do know good post-punk, latin alternative synth pop when we hear it. On the left speaker you’ve got bilingual punk rock diva Lady P. on vocals (and ukulele), and on the right speaker, there’s Don Verde on lead guitar laying down some incredibly catchy riffs.

The digital version, which came out in July, contains two bonus tracks not available on the album - “Electricidad” and “Blindness.” This band has enough credibility and worldwide appeal, we’re positive they’ll go far.
