Phish : Live in Brooklyn

July 6th, 2006 · No Comments

phishliveinbrooklyn.jpgTo promote their new 2-DVD and 3-CD set, Live In Brooklyn, Phish is taking over cinema venues across the country on Monday, July 10 to bring the film to fans in its entirety.

The show was filmed at the band’s opening night performance at Keyspan Park on Coney Island on June 17, 2004, and to-date, the film has been kept under wraps - much to the chagrin of the 16,000 Phish fans present at that rainy, sold-out baseball park or the thousands who watched the original live simulcast in movie theatres across the country.

The 3.5 hour set will be shown in high-def with 5.1 Surround Sound and Stereo PCM audio at 99 theaters across the states. Tickets are $12.50 in advance at BigScreenConcerts.com, as well as individual box offices (there is no service charge when purchased at the box office).

The Live in Brooklyn, 2-DVD set and 3-CD audio soundtrack is available for pre-order from Phish Dry Goods. All pre-orders will include Greetings from Coney Island, a free bonus CD exclusively available from Dry Goods that includes selections from the 6/17/04 sound check and 6/18/04 concert. The official release is July 11 (Rhino/Wea).

Minneapolis fans can catch the film at Regal Brooklyn Center 20 and the Regal Eagan 16.
