La Rocca, Dublin’s LA transplant trio, have put the finishing touches on their debut LP, The Truth, and they’re gearing up for a big fall push.

In February, what we called a “surprisingly strong and mature EP” — with standout tracks “Sing Song Sung” (mp3) and “Sketches (twentysomething life)” leading the charge — has evolved into a surprisingly strong and addictive LP.

Adding to the two aforementioned singles are 9 additional gritty pop tracks with handsome accents and smart bridges. Album highlights include the believable “This Life” (mp3) and Joshua Tree-influenced “Goodnight.”

Be on the lookout for the “Sketches (twentysomething life)” video, which the group filmed in Venice, CA in June.
