Where are the bongos?
For a group never known for really rocking out, Guster — Boston’s favorite college indie group — have further mellowed in their post-grad years.
The group’s new album, Ganging Up on the Sun, is 12 tracks of forgettable tunes proving that one extra bong hit really can mess you up forever (sorry mom, guess you were right).
Guster’s trying to be Coldplay (”One Man Wrecking Machine”) or the Shins (”Manifest Destiny”), when they should’ve just stuck to being Guster.
If you’d also like to hear too much bong and not enough bongos, stream the whole album here.
