Through the Eyes Bleeds the Soul

Nu-metalists Vain, from South Saint Paul, MN, mailed us their full-length debut to check out this week. With influences ranging from American Head Charge, KoRn, Slipknot, Mudvayne, Disturbed and Cradle of Filth, the group has a refreshing wealth of musical reference through which to channel their creative anger. Local metal fans flock to their shows, and the boys have opened for well known national acts, including FLAW, Drowning Pool and Bobaflex.

Favorite tracks on Through the Eyes Bleeds the Soul include “Cold” and “Sadistic Statistic.”

Here’s the video for “Cold”:

The group plays The Rock Wednesday, June 14 with Nuisance Crew and Unforsaken Realm.
