Little Box of Horrors (5 CD / 1 DVD Box Set)
Label: Restless Records

For those of us not privileged enough to know of Wednesday 13 prior to his stint with Slipknot offshoot Murderdolls and Wednesday’s 2005 solo album, Transylvania 90210: Songs of Death, Dying, And the Dead, this Frankenstein Drag Queens six disc box set is the perfect birthday present for the theatrical metalist in your life, even if that’s an early gift for yourself.

The Little Box of Horrors is a wickedly cruel collection of FDQ’s four original albums: The Late, Late, Late Show, Night of the Living Drag Queens, Songs From The Recently Deceased and Viva Las Violence, plus the stuff diehard fans will crave — a rarities disc a live DVD full of poorly shot punk footage!

More campy than Murderdolls and less professional than Rob Zombie, FDQ knew how to put on a show, and their ghoulish brand of freak rock was quite ahead of its time.
