Celebrating their 30th anniversary this year, Iron Maiden has authorized this new tribute album featuring 11 classics reworked by their metal contemporaries and apprentices - complete with another stellar cover featuring Eddie, the zombie who has graced the artwork of every official Maiden album.

The roster of 50 musicians on this album is alarmingly col - Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider, former Dokken members George Lynch and Jeff Pilson, Jason Bonham (of Bonham) and Bob Kulick (who plays guitar on three tracks) handle “Wasted Years.” Motorhead’s Lemmy Kilmister and Phil Campbell perform “The Trooper” along with Rocky George (Fishbone, Suicidal Tendencies), Chuck Wright (Alice Cooper, Quiet Riot) and Chris Slade (AC/DC).

All the classic tracks are here, and you couldn’t ask for a better all-star cast in a metal tribute.
