I wasn’t old enough to party it up in L.A. in ‘88, so 45 Grave’s re-release of their concert at Raji’s club in Hollywood that July will have to do. And the album underpromises and overdelivers. With really great sound quality, “Only the Good Die Young,” brings new and old fans a permanent record of one of the classic L.A. reunion shows Grave did in the late ’80s (group originally broke up in ‘83 after cutting just one official album).

With Dinah Cancer punk-gothing it up on “My Type” and “Sheila,” the entire group pounding out “Bad Love” in 90 seconds and the undead woken several times, this album features 45 Grave doing what they did best - silly metal punk/goth rock with attitude and flair.

This year, with the blessing of surviving members, 45 Grave will be touring as Dinah Cancer’s 45 Grave. They already have a number of sold-out shows behind them and are planning dates for the remainder of 2005 right now.
